Carmen Mosnia

Carmen Mosnia is a Traveling Live Sketch Artist, Fashion Designer, and Illustrator, who dreams of establishing her own brand.

She is dedicated to the entire design process, from concept to final product. All of her designs start with a strong storytelling aspect through gathering inspiration and backing up her ideas with research.

While her goal is to establish her own brand, she also has experience in other areas of expertise. During her internship with Karolina Zmarlak in New York City, she collaborated with the production and design team for the fall 2019 collection. Through working live sketching events with Vogue Vignette, she refined her skills in accuracy, speed, and proportion, even sketching for Giorgio Armani at an exclusive pre-showing of the spring/summer 2019 collection in Miami.

At the University of Texas at Austin, she obtained a degree in Textiles and Apparel (specializing in technical and functional design) and a certificate in Business Foundations from the McCombs School of Business. Outside of academics, she was involved in The Department of Theatre and Dance, where she develop costumes for production, and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, where she served as the Social Media and Events/Outreach Coordinator.

When her life is not revolving around fashion and apparel, you can find her accessorizing her cat, taking a morning run, or binging shows like Love Island or The Simpsons with her friends.
